3Time to check the Demo of "En Garde!", a third person action game set in the late 1600s.
The game is a satire of the Zorro and other Swashbuckling stories like "The three musketeers", with plenty of humor.
The game has beautiful cartoony graphics, music that fit the era and the action on screen. Also there is voice acting that is pretty good.
The gameplay is like a spectacle fighter. You move from one arena to the other, fighting enemies, on fast-paced fights full of spectacle.
The controls are fast and responsive and on higher difficulty there is some skill involved if you want to overcome the challenges. Another cool aspect of the combat is that you can use the environment to your advantage with hilarious results, like a true Swashbuckler.
Overall a pretty decent game that will be fun to play. More impressive is the fact, that this was initially a student project. Check it out.
