0Time to check the Demo of "Luna Abyss", a bullet-hell fps with grim, dark atmosphere.
You explore a derelict megastructure as prisoner, following orders, trying to piece together the story of this mysterious place. Weird characters, enemies and weapons, add to the overall atmosphere of the game.
The game reminds me a lot of the manga Tsutomu Nihei created, with his bizarre mega structures and weird characters. I wont be surprised if his work was an influence for this game.
You can also see some influences from games like Nier Automata and Returnal.
The gameplay is fast, controls are responsive and overall the game runs very smooth. Only weird choice, is the lock on system, but i guess that was added so players can focus more on dodging when hell breaks lose.
Overall this is feels like a great bullet-hell fps, that fans of the genre and games like Returnal should check it out, even if its just for the great atmosphere.
