Time lapse recording of a Mewtwo sketch that I just drew up in celebration of the release for the New Pokémon Snap game! It's been over 20 years since the original game came out back on the Nintendo 64 and it's dope to see them finally coming out with a new game and listening to the fans of the series.
For this artwork, I used a brush pen to ink, a single warm grey copic marker for the shading, and then a white sigma ball pen for the highlights. I wanted to go with more of a throwback design here for Mewtwo, back when he was a little more sinister looking from the OG games. Just like a lot of the Gen 1 Pokémon, Mewtwo's design got a little more "cutsie" over the years. Still one of my faves nonetheless!
