Not wasting any time getting started on Apollo Justice. I'm happy to not have to record psyche-locks until the finale, but I also don't want to take a dozen months to get these out. You'll notice that I stopped using an infinite health code. For whatever reason, using one caused graphical glitches and softlocking for some reason. I don't know why, but I don't mind using savestates instead since I would have done that anyways if I were recording off a console. There aren't even any instant game overs anyways.

As for the game itself, I don't really mind Apollo or any of the new cast, in fact I like Trucy a lot. But the writing in AJ just...it isn't up to the AA standard. Just look at this case. I mean, it's mostly fine, but why does nobody ever directly ask Phoenix how he could have gotten the bloodied Ace when it's clearly established the killer took it? I get it, it's forged, and if Kristoph points it out, he exposes himself, but geez. I also wonder if the blood on the card is really Smith's, but I guess there was chance enough to get another pack of cards and drop blood on the Ace before the police arrived. Meh.

That said, if the penalties from here on out stay as funny as they are here, I say we can look forward to more from here on out.
