Three methods of fixing the pain in the backside that is the error:

User Profile Service service failed the logon.
User profile cannot be loaded.

Method 1: Boot into Safe Mode With Command Prompt, start Regedit, restore correct profile path.

Method 2: Connect computer's HDD to alternate machine, load registry hive in regedit, restore correct profile path.

Method 3: Boot computer with Hiren's Boot CD, Mini XP Mode - load registry hive in regedit, restore correct profile path.
