I make network cables on request for customers, and since the camera was already recording for another job, I thought I might as well share the knowledge.
The wire order is; W/ORANGE - ORANGE - W/GREEN - BLUE - W/BLUE - GREEN - W/BROWN - BROWN

Also, I mention that it doesn't really matter if the order is wrong, so long as it's the same at both ends - to elaborate on this, the reason why there's an order is due to the four twisted pairs in the cable.
Keeping certain wires twisted together reduces noise and interference from both external sources and the other wires. However, this isn't really going to affect a patch lead, it's more important on big-traffic cables and long-runs. But networking is all about standards, so best stick to them!
