Darkwing Duck is a classic 8-bit side-scrolling action platformer released for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) in 1992. Based on the popular animated television series of the same name, the game puts players in the role of the masked crime-fighting hero Darkwing Duck, as he battles against a variety of villains in the crime-ridden city of St. Canard. Being made by Capcom, Darkwing Duck plays very similarly to another of Capcom's games, Megaman, though not as smoothly or with the same amount of depth.
