Sonics 2nd venture into the 3D realm, Sonic Adventure 2 Battle brings an interesting twist to the formula. Players can choose between the hero's story and play as Sonic, Knuckles, and Tails attempting to save the world or play the dark story trying to take over the world as longtime villian Dr. Eggman and new comers Rouge the bat and Shadow the Hedgehog. Sonic and Shadow's stages play like traditional Sonic stages. Run to the finish while dodging obstacles, platforming, and running at top speed. Rouge and Knuckles' stages are open world treasure hunting, and Tail's and Eggman drive mechs destroying everything in their path. Also the Chao Garden returns.
