Let's Learn Tales of Maj'Eyal - Episode 1 - Initially Starting Out
292Welcome to the beginning of my Let's Learn. The purpose of this series is to attempt to help new players learn and play Tales of Maj'Eyal, a Tactical Roguelike game now available on Steam or free to download and play from its homepage website. Links are at the bottom.
To begin this series I take a Thaloran Shadowblade, a character combination that is playable regardless of what you have locked or not. I'll attempt to cover the basics and give you an example of my thought patterns as I build my character to the fullest while I go through the games campaign.
My entry into the game of course begins by diving into the various starter dungeons in the World of Maj'Eyal. The Beginner Starter dungeons are available to all initial characters, and it is recommend you visit them.
Note that I also make use of a very powerful strategy of NOT attempting to clear the third level of each of the instances I visit; opting just to clear the initial first and second levels of each starter dungeon.
