Guncaster has some issues on newer GZDoom versions. I recommend running it in GZDoom 4.7.1, the last supported version. It'll still run in newer version if a map really needs it, but the mouse control in the item shop is very broken due to updates to GZDoom's mouse prescaling settings. Not recommended for maps where you need to be in and out of the shop quickly!
