Let's Peek - Neon Drive
I haven't heard reports of this game triggering people with photosensitive epilepsy, but with the bright lights pulsing and strobing, better safe than sorry.
Also, sorry about having the cursor staying on the screen. The game actually made it disappear on screen, but my capture software made sure it was always visible.
So, what would happen if you marathon-watched a bunch of 1980's sci-fi and car chase movies, and then fell asleep with a Giorgio Moroder soundtrack playing in the background? Your dreams would probably look a lot like this.
Neon Drive was released last week(as of the time of this upload), and after seeing it, I had to get it just to soak up the pure, undiluted 80's neon atmosphere. Enjoy the brief look.
This game really, really does not like to be recorded on my PC. Trying to record at 60 FPS left me with a massive amount of smearing colors in the recording as the game would dip FPS at just the right rate to go out of sync with my desktop, but dropping the recording down to 30 FPS produced better results. Hopefully, nothing too terrible happens with the conversion to YouTube.
Lastly, I will say that, yes, the trailer for the game does show other stages that have slight twists on them, such as a plane having to navigate a circular track, a robot in a standard "runner" side scroller, or a car having to dodge lasers. However, every thing I've seen is basically what you see here: navigate your vehicle between lanes to dodge things. It does one thing, does it well, but it still feels a little lacking for any long term replayability.
