At Angela and Vikki’s home, Angela is concerned about Vikki’s health. She wants her to go to a doctor, but Vikki just wants to cleanse her energy. When Angela leaves, a drained Vikki combs back her hair, revealing a streak of white and beautiful silver eyes.

She is not doing well, and the energy-cleanser friend turns out to be Abe, who inquires about what set off Vikki’s emotions. She tells him about Charles and his need to control. Abe worries about Sam, and we are left with an ambiguous response to mull over.

Meanwhile, Charles drives Sam to work. Sam is tired due to playing with still-mystery man Dion, and Charles discusses realistic expectations for the Indigineer proposal.

Sam worries about Charles’ distance, and thinks to how her mother would soothe her father, as well as use a software analogy for relationships.

Upon exiting the car, she summons her strength and executes her plan, stroking Charles on the chest and leaving him flustered.
