🐧 Our Blind let's play of 999: 9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors on the PS4! This is the first game in the Zero Escape Trilogy, produced by Spike Chunsoft who did the Danganronpa Trilogy! We will play until we have seen all endings in this visual novel classic, which has been re-released multiple times for many systems. This will be a complete playthrough, by me your FlightlessBird, with cuts happening very rarely. When they do, I will have a constant time ticking during puzzles, so you will always know how long it took to solve each puzzle. So expect all the paths! All the puzzles! And more importantly, all the story! As a story-based channel, we will try to get every bit of lore information out of this new classic series and voice-over every line of dialogue.

🐧 This is the PS4 version, which is the definitive version of this game. It is my hope to bring to you many other visual novel and puzzle games on this channel, this only being the first with others such as Ace Attorney coming later. This game features multiple endings and the PS4 version has a flowchart that allows us to better track these and jump around once we've completed the game once. This will allow us to see everything this game has to offer, before moving onto the sequels. While this is a newer game (released originally in 2009), I am a HUGE fan of Danganronpa and really wanted to play this trilogy.

🐧 Hello! I am the #FlightlessBird and I’ve been playing video games for a very long time. This story-based channel is designed to highlight games from the past which are continuing to define games into the present. We are in a renaissance of gaming at the moment, for good reason! These older games are fantastic! Whether the game is a point and click adventure, RPG, adventure, action, horror, puzzle, visual novel, etc... I want to try and #letsplay them. There will be a focus on this channel for games older than the PS3, though that does not mean we won't play more recent games, such as 999 and its sequels! Especially those that are spiritual successors, remasters, or remakes.

🐧 Check out the beginning of our let's play 999 [PC] Ep 1: 9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors (Blind) First Zero Escape Game, the Flightless Bird playthrough playlist here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLzPCpTnUu-FakOv55GOf8A25nitzgfFd-

🐧 Buy and download this game on PS4 or Steam for the PC! Thank you Spike Chunsoft for making great games like these!

🐧 About #999 (from the Wiki Page): Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors features nine main characters, who are forced to participate in the Nonary Game by an unknown person named Zero. The characters adopt code names to protect their identities due to the stakes of the Nonary Game. The player-controlled Junpei is joined by June, a nervous girl and an old friend of Junpei whom he knows as Akane; Lotus, a self-serving woman with unknown skills; Seven, a large and muscular man; Santa, a punk with a negative attitude; Ace, an older and wiser man; Snake, a blind man with a princely demeanor; Clover, a girl prone to mood swings; and the 9th Man, a fidgety individual.

The events of the game occur within a cruise ship, though all of the external doors and windows have been sealed, and many of the internal doors are locked. The game's nine characters learn that they have been kidnapped and brought to the ship to play the Nonary Game, with the challenge to find the door marked with a "9" within nine hours before the ship sinks. To do this, they are forced to work in separate teams to make their way through the ship and solve puzzles to find this door. This is set in part by special locks on numbered doors that are based on digital roots; each player has a bracelet with a different digit on it, and only groups of three to five with the total of their bracelet's number with the same digital root as marked on the door can pass through.

Will we find the door marked "9" in time? What perils await us in this ship run by the mysterious mastermind known as "Zero"? Will we all make it out alive, or will we find our new friends being killed off in this ship of horrors?

🐧 We will have the sequel, Virtue Last Reward, on this channel as well eventually too! Stay tuned and I hope you enjoy! If you do, don't forget to like and subscribe as well as comment on what you see! I look forward to seeing this series play out.
