Let's Play Hero-U Part 33 [PC] Ghost Kids (Rogue to Redemption Blind)
1🐧 A blind let's play of Hero-U Rogue to Redemption, a rebirth of the excellent RPG point and click adventure game series: Quest for Glory. That's right, the ones behind the classic Corey Cole and Lori Cole are back under Transolar Studios, to release a new successor to the timeless classic series. Set in the same world as QfG, Hero-U sees us play as Shawn O'Connor. A young man wanting to join the Thieves Guild, but has a problem. He gets caught! With the choice between prison and being forced to go to school, Shawn chooses to join Hero-U. But, do we want to be a hero? Will Shawn complete his Disbarred Bard class and rise up to that status, or become a Rogue and Chief Thief himself one day? Only time will tell!
🐧 This will be a complete playthrough, by me your FlightlessBird, with cuts happening only when we grind or unnecessarily backtrack. So expect all the fights! All the maps! And more importantly, all the story with every line voiced by myself, doing my best for the many different voices. As a story-based channel, we will try to get every bit of lore information out of Hero-U as we see Shawn progress through the school.
🐧 Hello! I am the #FlightlessBird and I’ve been playing video games for a very long time. This story-based channel is designed to highlight games from the past which are continuing to define games into the present. We are in a renaissance of gaming at the moment, for good reason! These older games are fantastic! Whether the game is a point and click adventure, RPG, adventure, action, horror, puzzle, visual novel, etc... I want to try and #letsplay them. There will be a focus on this channel for games older than the PS3, though that does not mean we won't play more recent games. Especially those that are spiritual successors, remasters, or remakes... which this one clearly is! The successor to the great Quest for Glory series, I simply cannot wait! 🐧 About Hero-U (from the Hero-U fan page): Shawn O'Connor is the main playable character in Hero-U: Rogue to Redemption. As the game title states, Shawn is a Rogue. Shawn does not rely on "agility" alone, however, he also relies on smarts, charm, tool use and fitness as well as other stats. Instead of being level based, stats increase on the frequency of use. Shawn begins his studies in the Hero University, set in an ancient castle with a dark history. He can make friends with other students and improve his rogue, magic, science, and first aid skills. Beneath the castle, Shawn can explore, fight monsters in tactical turn-based combat, and collect valuable items. He can strive to become Rogue of the Year while uncovering clues to his father’s mysterious disappearance and to the dark secrets of the ancient castle.
