Lets play a bit of Manic Miner - 12 different systems, (mostly) on my MiSTer FPGA
FrodoNL interrupts his "First year(s) of ..." series to fulfill a community challenge in his Twitch channel - https://www.twitch.tv/frodonl - by playing as many commercial (and one unofficial) versions of Manic Miner as possible.
Eleven of the twelve versions are played on Frodo's MiSTer FPGA, while the Oric version is played in an emulator.
After going through all twelve versions Frod then proceeds to play through all twenty levels in the ZX Spectrum version, using a cheat code to be able to restart from any level.
Systems seen in this video:
- Sinclair ZX Spectrum
- Tandy Color Computer*
- Amstrad CPC
- Acorn BBC Micro
- Commodore 64
- Commodore VIC-20
- Commodore Amiga
- Nintendo Game Boy Advance
- MSX
- Tangerine Oric-1
- Sam Coupé
- Sinclair ZX81
* The version played on the CoCo is technically not a commercial version but the slightly patched Dragon 32 version.
