Alwa's Legacy by Swedish developer Elden Pixels is an action-platformer/metroidvania full of beautiful 16-bit graphics and catchy chiptunes evoking the good ol' days of gaming in the SNES era.
We once again take control of our heroine Zoe, use her magic staff and progress through a large interconnected world where we’ll solve puzzles, fight enemies and defeat bosses in order to help free the land of Alwa. With the ability to upgrade her magic, any way forward is right in this game of exploration and adventure.
The sequel to 2017's Alwa's Awakening, Alwa's Legacy was released on June 17, 2020 for PC and is also available for Nintendo Switch.
