Well folks... This is it. We have reached the end of the "Let's Play"!

I know this is hard to take in, but it is.

In this episode, we finish off "American McGee's Alice" by fighting the Queen of Hearts aka The Red Queen and saving Wonderland.

My thoughts on this game: It's a really good game despite the graphics not aging well. Now granted, this game came out in 2000 and they looked impressive at the time, but since the years have passed, many people might have the same sentiments as well. But that doesn't mean it's a bad game... Far from it. The environments were breathtaking, the characters were memorable (even though they were already memorable prior to the creation of this game), the soundtrack is astonishing, and the boss fights in this game were superb.

Before I move on to a different game to do a let's play of, here are a couple of interesting facts about this game that you may or may not know:

* Marilyn Manson was originally one of the few musicians involved in the scoring of the game's music and there was a time where he was considered for the voice of The Mad Hatter.

* American McGee's Alice was EA's first M-rated video game and American McGee fought to obtain it because he didn't want the game to be released during the Christmas season out of fear that parents may confuse it for a kid's game considering it's premise is inspired by "Alice In Wonderland". However, McGee regretted the decision in a 2009 interview and said that the violence in the game didn't necessarily warrant an M-rating, stressing that consumers should buy products responsibly after referring to the recommendations provided by the ESRB.

* This game has exceptionally grown in value and has become somewhat of a collector's item since it's initial release. New copies netted around $100 - $200 on auction sites and used copies sold for close to $100. The sales of a particular copy depended on the game's cover art and the earlier a copy, the higher it was in market value. The most sought was the cover of Alice with the vorpal blade and the least sought was Alice with the deck of cards while the one with Alice holding the Ice Wand was caught in the middle.

* In 2010, a replica of the Vorpal Blade was released to commemorate the game's 10th anniversary.

* There was originally going to be a port of "American McGee's Alice" for the PlayStation 2, but it was cancelled. This resulted in Rogue Entertainment shutting down.

* An early version of "American McGee's Alice" featured a mechanic which allowed players to summon the Cheshire Cat to assist them in battle. However, this mechanic never made it into the final production with only beta screenshots of this feature appearing online.

* The Cheshire Cat, The Jabberwock, and Dormouse are voiced by Roger L. Jackson in this game. Surprising, isn't it? The same guy who voices Mojo Jojo in "The PowerPuff Girls" and the Ghostface Killer in "Scream" also voices a cat, a mouse, and a dragon in a demented version of "Alice In Wonderland".

*There were plans for a film adaptation of "American McGee's Alice", but the current status of the film's production is unknown; though there may be a possibility that it was abandoned.

* In 2009 during the month of November, a fan-made video based on the announcement of a sequel of "Alice 2" (what is known today as "Alice: Madness Returns") was mistaken by multiple gaming websites for a teaser trailer.

* This game was released alongside "Alice: Madness Returns" and the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions came with a redemption code which allowed players to acquire a free download of it.

Now that this let's play is officially over, my name has been Jacyrium and I shall see you all in my next "Let's Play". What it is and when it may be is currently unknown, but until then, expect a couple of short videos on the way until I decide what to play next.

And if you're asking if it's "Alice: Madness Returns", no it isn't; though I may consider it as a possible one in the future. ;3
