REMOVING BLUE FOG:
After some playing around with options and looking at various forum posts, I have found that you should be able to greatly lessen the blue tint (that you see in this video) by doing the following.
NOTE: For each of these, you will want to make sure you've completely exited AAMFP, then you can modify the settings described and reenter the game when finished.
Change your "floating fog amount"
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
1. Locate your Amnesia - A Machine for Pigs folder, depending on where you purchased it:
* GOG.com = C:\GOG Games\
* Steam = C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\
2. Within the AAMFP folder, go to the \redist\core\shaders\ folder
3. RIGHT-click on the file called "deferred_fog_frag.glsl" and edit it with a text editor (like Notepad in Windows).
4. Find the line beginning with "float fAmount" (no quotation marks) and add two slashes (//) at the beginning
5. Below this line, add a new line, as follows:
float fAmount = 0.0;
6. Save the file, exit, and restart AAMFP
II. Change fog color in latest save file

For this, you need at least one save file. However, you can simply start a new game and immediately choose "Save and Exit" once you have control (i.e., you can move, etc.). Once saved in the latest file, future saves should have better coloring as well.
1. Locate your most recent saved game, depending on where you purchased your copy of the game.
* GOG.com = C:\Users\[your Windows profile]\Documents\Amnesia\Pig\[your AAMFP profile]\
* Steam = C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\[your Steam ID]\239200\remote\savedata\
2. Open the latest save file (the latest is at the bottom of files ending with .sav) using a text editor (like TextEdit on a Mac)
3. Look for "mFogColor" (no quotation marks) in the file
4. Change the values (called "val" in the code) to something more even, like:
var type="10" name="mFogColor" val="0.030000 0.036000 0.057000 1.000000"
5. Save the file, exit, and restart AAMFP

After setting a new standard for horror in 2010, Frictional Studios, in collaboration with The Chinese Room (makers of Dear Esther), released the second tale of terror in the Amnesia tradition. Set approximately 60 years after the events of the original game, Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs puts players in the role of Oswald Mandus, a wealthy industrialist who has had a disastrous expedition to Mexico not too long ago. Now waking and troubled by fever and dreams of a dark, hellish engine, he faces failing dreams of an industrial utopia. He not only suffers from a tropical disease, however; feelings of guilt and a sense of urgency to find and protect his children from peril drive him to search underground, where an infernal machine shakes the very earth.
Controls are mostly the same as the game's predecessor: WASD = move, Q / E = lean, Ctrl = crouch, Space = jump, and F = lantern. However, there's no inventory nor sanity meter.
Like The Dark Descent, A Machine for Pigs is driven forward by its story, with exploration of the world and the constant fear of the unknown. Expect classic Amnesia gameplay, physics interaction and the signature blend of high-end gaming with low system requirements. Think you know true fear? Think again. The world of The Dark Descent has progressed, not only technologically but in horror as well. Built with an updated version of HPL2 engine, look for superb visual and environment design, amazing music and audio effects, and an adapted (and likely more dangerous) artificial intelligence. And, of course, all of this is driven by a gut-wrenching, blood-curdling new story. How long will it take for Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs to give me nightmares? Let's Play: it's the only way to find out!
