Let's Play Amnesia: Rebirth Ep.10 The Sickness Within
23On the tenth episode of Let's Play Amnesia: Rebirth, we escaped the ghūl-infested tomb through the portal device. However, rather than being transported to the town, The Shadow's interference has sent us to some fancy facility in the Otherworld. In this much more artistically-designed structure we find and power up some kind of lecture hall with a medical scanner. Climbing in, Tasi is able to see her developing child for the first time, but the machine indicates something is wrong. The spirit tells her that she will need vitae to heal the child, or else she'll suffer the same fate as Alys. The scanner machine then dumps us in a pit of discarded human bodies, from which we crawl our way into the rest of the facility. Among the body-strewn halls we find a transit station, but it'll need to be powered up before we can leave. Further exploration reveals that this facility was designed for mass-harvesting vitae from legions of captive humans, and that it is only one of many flowing to the Tower. On our way back to power up the vitae-harvesting room, Tasi is attacked by one of the floating spectral wraiths we saw during the first trip to the Otherworld.
