On the sixteenth episode of Let's Play Dead Space 2, Isaac has fought his way through the laboratories of the Government Sector to reach the Marker chamber. Here, we get our first look at the massive monstrosity of a Marker that Isaac designed. Below, the massive horde of Necromorphs made from the population of Titan Station has also reached the Marker, triggering something called a Convergence event. Thus, we have even less time to reach it and destroy it before something truly bad happens. Nicole leads us to the machine that Stross was talking about all along, which will unlock Isaac's knowledge of the Marker by stabbing him in the eye with a needle. Assuming you don't miss and impale yourself, of course. To make matters worse, after we're done with the machine a particularly alien-looking, unkillable Necromorph begins pursuing Isaac. Thus, we must stay a step ahead of the Ubermorph while still fighting off the rest of the Necromorphs between us and the Marker chamber.
