8The plot picks up! Unfortunately, it picks up from a point that makes no sense, and tries to hit emotional notes with what feels like no setup. Fitting the card motif, it's completely flat.

This is game 47 of over 700 SNES games that I will play to completion over on twitch.tv/circlmastr. I will use whatever means necessary to play every US-released SNES game to its conclusion, be it good or bad. I will endeavor not to use external cheat devices such as Game Genie. I will do my best not to put myself into an unwinnable situation, but reserve the right to bail out if progress becomes impossible.
