Assassin's Creed III is a historical action-adventure open world stealth video game that was developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U,[8] and Microsoft Windows. It is the fifth major installment and the third numbered title in the Assassin's Creed series.
Set in Colonial America, the Assassin-Templar war has become involved in the American Revolution. Through series' protagonist Desmond Miles, the player controls a young half-English, half-Mohawk man named Ratonhnhaké:ton, also known as Connor, who is drawn into the fight against tyranny when his home is attacked by European colonists.
