So now that Trost has been 100% concluded, we're moving on to something interesting! Turns out even with how well-paced the anime is (...at least it is after season 1), there's a bunch of stuff that's never shown onscreen. This one being what the Scouts were doing outside the walls during Trost!
Actually, the whole sideplot about the diary is super interesting and highly worth doing some research into. It gives some, uhh, "context" for the massive bombs season 3 part 2 drops on you.
