Then I played the demo on Xbox a few months back and really hoped they would spend the time to polish things because that 40 minute demo had a lot of issues with pacing, performance, gameplay and how the story was delivered.
Sadly, it seems the full release only doubles down on this, making the player way a full 50 minutes to see any kind of action and having weird dialog scenes where you have to run a few steps, watch a loading screen, have some text appear on screen and repeat it a few times.
I had really high hopes for this Indie title and perhaps that is why I'm disappointed it didn't end up being a very good release. I might do a full written review later when I've played through the entire game, but the fact I'm not looking forward to do so is telling enough.
