Let's Play Balrum - Ep. 3 - Nightmare!
29Heading to the house for a nice peaceful night's sleep doesn't turn out exactly how I planned as I have a horrible nightmare. Then my dog is mysteriously missing. Ahh well, in the end I bring the sausage to my grampy and fix the house. Only after stealing an ancient hammer and forcing the individual to forget my crime. :D
Balrum has been a bit of a tricky game to nail down. I had my hands on a pre-release demo of the game and had a blast with it. I was eagerly looking forward to covering it upon release, but the date was pushed. Unfortunately, it got pushed aside in the shuffle and I've been regretting it ever since. This Friday, I had it marked, scheduled, ready to go for a First Look video, when the developer sent the full released version my way. Redemption! Needless to say I'm stoked and ready to dive headfirst into this amazingly epic and incredibly deep open world, survival, tactical, RPG! Come join me as I Let's Play Balrum!

What Is Balrum?
Balrum is an old-school, hybrid turn-based/real time, open world RPG, with deep tactical combat set in a huge living fantasy world. With tons of side quests, crafting, building, farming, and an epic main quest, it should keep your RPG needs met for quite some time. The turn-based combat is entered seamlessly from the real time play. You get to choose one of three classes to start with and always at your side is your animal companion to add a new layer of tactical depth to the combat. Definitely a title worth checking out.
