In this part, I decided to turn off the hotdrop protection setting and randomspawns setting in Mission Control by going to the battletechmods folder and editing the settings.json file with notepad.

The hotdrop protection setting gives 6 evasion pips to you and the enemy IF you manage to spawn near each other while the randomspawn setting randomizes your spawn.

With less evasion pips to contend with, our accuracy is improved and we get to land even more shots and finish more missions faster rather than wasting too much time stripping off evasion pips.

Note: It is suggested that if your mech is stuck at spawn, use a jump jet. Having mechs on your second lance with jump jets can resolve this issue or just restart your game.
