Now we are at 7 mechs with this mod and nearing to the maximum of 8. Other mods such as RogueTech or BEX allow for an even higher number of mechs to be fielded but in turn will result in very very large scale battles that may take awhile to finish.

With a lot of mechs going around, it is very easy for one of your mechs to be dogpiled (i.e. focus fired) if one of them were to went astray, so its important to keep all of your mechs in close proximity each other to offer fire support.
