We get ourselves a new mech, the Warhammer 6R. If you recall in vanilla - this mech is loaded with PPCs (which still is in BEX), but PPCs were notoriously inaccurate and kept missing even with a 8 gunnery pilot.

Now however, PPCs are much more accurate making them worth while to use if you don't have anything better. They hit much more consistently. I will probably be using this mech for a long time till I get the Awesome 8T or 8Q, which packs way more firepower and armor, following vanilla progression. I've also dumped the Cataphract because it doesn't excel in anything just like in vanilla.

At this stage, some of our pilots as well are nearing max stats, some have maxed out gunnery and tactics. This means we can hit much more consistently when firing, but when dealing with light mechs they will still have 6 evasion pips that you need to strip off by sensor locking them. Your CTH (Chance to Hit) will still be low not unless you sensor lock the light mechs to increase your chances, so don't be surprised with misses even with a 10 gunnery pilot against a light mech.
