Like holy fucking shit, that was bad, who wrote this garbage? Like, I wasn't expecting Final Fantasy level writing, but I was expecting better then...schloch.

Viola being Luka and Bayonetta's kid? Fine, sure, it's been implied since the first game that they are into each other, I can get behind that...but what was that Adam Eve nonsense? When has it ever been implied that Luka has powers? Which timeline of the two conceived Viola and why is there only one of her yet infinite Bayonettas and Lukas?

And Singularity, who the fuck even was he? How is this literal 11th hour no named clearly human able to reach a level of power to actually battle Bayonetta at all, we have seen her LITERALLY beat gods at this point and yet he somehow received enough power to not only best her, but take over the multiverse, how, through what means or regards, and even then, what was his reasoning for doing such? Like, the big bads in the first two games weren't great narrative wise, but at least they had a real reason besides "just because."

And who even asked for an end to these character's stories anyway? Who was asking for the torch pass to Viola, and mind you, I actually do like her design and character because it is specifically supposed to be not Bayonetta, (hate her parry mechanic though) but what set up did she get to even just be the new main stay?

This entire story feels like they saw how well the mantle pass from Dante and Vergil to Nero was in the DMC series was, and just wanted to hard copy it without having any idea what the fuck made it actually work as a story anyway, holy fuck that was bad, game was fun though I guess.
