Is wanting to feel like the most powerful group of beings in the world truly the goal of all of these horrifying monsters? I would at least expect a reason why they'd want to kill all humans rather than use them as slaves or livestock. Why waste such useful servants unless you hate acknowledging their existence to begin with?
