This is the seventh of a series of doing Let's Plays on "classic games." Classic games in this sense are, pretty much whatever I consider a classic, usually old and becoming somewhat obscure but trend setting games.

In Japan, Dragon Warrior is known as Dragon Quest, and it in fact overshadows Final Fantasy in terms of popularity as a series. This is somewhat the opposite of the USA where Final Fantasy is more popular. This is the first Dragon Warrior game ever released as far as I know for the NES. It is a trendsetting game in that it establishes many of the hallmarks of the (J)RPG genre.

This video features my continued efforts to raise gold around Rimuldar. I'm saving up for the Magic Plate and a bunch of magic keys (are there any other kind?) In the process I fight quite a myriad of creatures, including a Wyvern and a Knight at least once. Wyvern's are scary for a level 13 hero!
