Series 1, Part 8:
Trouble with Friends

In this episode we explore the Extension branch, we make new friends, we lose new friends, our friends get us into lots of trouble, we fight through some serious defenses, we take some losses, and we rebuild.

This series was originally supposed to showcase a very simple win along with the basic tactics and strategies needed to get there, but the specific seed we were given is a rare one that doesn't allow us to use some of the tools I wanted to show during the run. But instead it gives us something much more interesting: a very powerful SUPERWEAPON! So we've pivoted and will now build around the superweapon and have some fun. The series will still be educational and will demonstrate much of what I originally intended to show -- even moreso since we will be doing branches and side-content that I was originally going to skip -- but there will now be some side-shenanigans and other fun distractions along the way!
