Command & Conquer The Covert Operations is an expansion pack for Command & Conquer. It was developed by Westwood studios, and first published by Virgin Interactive on April 22, 1996.

The expansion pack is mostly a mission disk, and comes with ten new multiplayer maps, fifteen singleplayer missions, as well seven new audio tracks. It also includes a few previously unused FMV cutscenes.

The singleplayer missions can be selected and played in any order, and do not follow and overarching story. However, some hint at taking place at certain points after the base game's campaigns.

Some GDI and Nod missions use the desert and temperate theatre respectively, which was never the case in the base game. Another first is the use of certain units in singleplayer, such as the Chem Warrior.

Lastly, Command & Conquer The Covert Operations contains a hidden five-mission campaign in which the player faces dinosaurs. This campaign was originally not sanctioned by Westwood's management, but ultimately included as an Easter egg.
