0It's time for the final battle of the game, and I'll be honest: I think the storytelling is better in this part than the original, but I really wish that is was an actual battle and not just a visual novel-esque narration. Only being able to read and not see what's going on, save for a few cgs, just takes me out of the experience. Besides, the new dialog could have easily fit into an actual battle, I think.
Anyway, with that out of the way, the escape sequence is greatly improved over the original. The anatomical model only chases Akari during the beginning part, then all of Yoshiki's friends help her overcome various obstacles on her way to Class 2-9. I think this is a huge step up compared to the ending of the original. And don't worry, there's no bad ending this time, once you've beaten the game, you've beaten the game. With that, we're finished with Corpse Party if, both incarnations! Next time we'll be Depths of Despair, the first of the Corpse Party D2 series! Until then, bya!
