Let's Play Corpse Party (PC) Part 57 - The Alternate Ending To Chapter 5
After once again appeasing Sachiko, Yuki appears to tell everyone to escape the school before the final bell to avoid being trapped there forever.
And unlike last time, they actually escape to the outdoor walkway this time around!
But even though they managed to get there, there is one very important thing they overlooked!
And that thing that they overlooked is the fact that Naomi wasn't there when they performed the Sachiko ever after charm.
But while they didn't meet up with her back then, they do spot her in the outdoor hallway during their escape.
Satoshi, relieved to see her, approaches her without paying attention to his surroundings..
To the horror of everyone else, Naomi's figure appears to be an illusion.
And to make things worse, Yoshikazu was standing hidden in the background holding a pair of scissors!
With Satoshi's life in danger, Yuka runs to protect her brother and ends up getting fatally stabbed.
As Yoshikazu runs off after stabbing her, the scene takes on a tragic tone.
While Yuka tries to act like she'll be okay, it soon becomes clear that she is going to die from her wound.
During this tragic scene, Yuka confesses that she loves Satoshi as more than just a brother. (It makes the scene feel more awkward than anything else, really!)
With Satoshi saying he loves her too (But not in that same way, I'd imagine!), Yuka's eyes close for the last time.
After that, Satoshi, Ayumi and Yoshiki return to the real world.
But unlike some of the other endings where they escape, we don't see the survivors interact before the ending concludes.
Instead, the ending focuses on Satoshi's perspective as he returns home alone.
After being greeted by his parents, (They seem cheerful despite Satoshi being the only one to return home.) Satoshi finds himself unable to tell them about what had happened to Yuka.
Depressed and exhausted, Satoshi goes to his bedroom.
While in his bedroom, he notices a message left on his desk from Yuka.
After reading the message, which is about a gift she had for him when they return home, Satoshi hears a rustling sound coming from Yuka's bedroom.
With their rooms being right next to each other, Satoshi looks through the keyhole to investigate.
And what does he see? A familiar eye staring back at him! (Creepy!)
With Yuka staring back at him through the keyhole, she tells him that she is lonely.
And with that creepy mental image, the credits roll!
So that was a bit of an odd ending, wasn't it? While it might have had the credits play after it, that seemed more like another bad ending than an alternate ending!
But anyways! With that ending cleared, and the last of the name tags/student IDs picked up in this part, all that is left to do is look at the name tags/student IDs and then get the true ending!
And with that, what will happen next? Find out in the next part!
