In the late 90's, the platformer genre was in high demand with series like Sonic, Super Mario, Tomb Raider and many others all rising to prominence. Then in 1996, developers Naughty Dog would release one of the highest selling games of the PS1, Crash Bandicoot. Wowed by the visual style of the game, it would become one of the most iconic series of the 5th generation in my opinion.

Sadly however as of uploading, the series effectively ended several years ago. But we here at BS Inc. are proud to detail what was a fantastic series with the ninth best-selling PlayStation game of all time. So please enjoy a 5th Generation Icon.
