Let's Play Dark Cloud 2 - [P77]
8Time to finally play the post game after years of this Let's Play being over. I apologize, but I was a little worried about this post game, because I wasn't sure how much of a pain it would be to level up all my weapons to max (about 12 hours, not bad, but I wasn't sure before the grinding how long it would take). I have also never really gotten into this post game before so I wasn't sure what to expect. I also have gotten way better equipment since then so this LP is going to look fantastic, but will make the previous videos look a little bad. The worst part is that I've just been not as interested in Dark Cloud. When my LP was over the original game out on PSN so I went from a long and decently detailed series, back to the first one and I got pretty burned out. It's nice play the series again though :)
If you are not sure, the Zelmite Mine is a 38 floor post game in Dark Cloud 2, kind of like the Demon Shaft in Dark Cloud 1. They are made to be long post game material for people who still want more content and a challenge after the main game is over. Plenty of JRPGs do this so it's nothing new, but still enjoyable.
The continuation of this playthrough will be made in the same style as it was before. So I apologize for the inconsistency of what I usually try now. For example, I try to stick with the original aspect ratio for games now (baring rom hacks), but because I stretched it for the entire series it doesn't make sense to go back now so it will stay stretched. I also didn't do numbered video thumbnails at the time so I won't suddenly be adding them for this.
