This boss all depends on your play style. If dodging comes easier to you than me, then this fight is a lot easier. His melee cannot be blocked in my experience with a +3 Towershield.

If you're like me at dodging you're going to be using the wall to block his fire attacks. Just be careful to dodge his fire laser....thing. It's very very easy to roll to the side to avoid it and get some hits in.
