If there's one complaint I have about this game, it's that you pretty much inevitably become a wizard by the end of the game. Magic is such an incredibly useful tool, especially once you have the wand, that it kinda feels like a waste to actually stab things.

Funnily enough, my other complaint about magic is that it's so back-loaded. Almost all of the actually useful spells are only available once you get the final rune.
