The Tower Knight is fun fight for the boss of 1-2, a little challenging maybe if you're not good at dodging. As a mage we're going to have to get better at it if we want to be successful though.

This fight sort of hinges on the first 5-10 seconds like Capra Demon from Dark Souls. If you can get up the stairs and out of the boss's line of fire, then normally you're half way to victory. As a mage, it's basically 100% won.

As long as you don't do something silly like me and go back down there just to do it, you'll probably be just fine as a fellow magic caster.
