Continuing on from the previous part, I rant about a bunch of things that put me in a bad mood a few hours prior to recording this part! (My rant goes on for quite a while!)
After mostly ranting for the first ten minutes or so of this video, I eventually go to faulty ex machina to battle the duo of MetalGreymon (Blue) and WereGarurumon (Black).
Compared to how tough they appeared when I last battled them who knows how many parts ago, this fight is so easy with my current digimon that I didn't even need to use any items!
Upon being defeated, the duo think that they should take things slowly for now, and the duo leave after acting like what just happened was just some kind of dream! (That last bit confused me a bit!)
Knowing where the last encounter with this duo is, I head into the infinite cauldron to face them one last time.
They have now digivolved into their mega forms, BlackWarGreymon and MetalGarurumon (Black), and talk like we didn't just battle each other several minutes ago! (I guess they expect you to have defeated them long before this area becomes accessible!)
After talking about how much training they have done to become stronger, the final battle against this duo begins.
While tougher than the previous battle, this fight is still a walk in the park for my current digimon! (Even in this final battle against them, I didn't need to use any recovery discs!)
Upon being defeated for the final time, the duo combine their powers to digivolve into Omegamon Zwart!
Unfortunately for them, this form only lasts for a few seconds before they return to their previous forms!
The duo finally admit that we are stronger than them, but take pride in the fact that they can see themselves as the second strongest behind us. (There are many more stronger digimon than them, but let's just let them have that feeling!)
Moving on from that, I do some training at the gym, let my digimon sleep through the night, and then pick up some daily stuff the next day.
Talking to MagnaAngemon at the clinic reveals that my digimon are very close to the end of their lifespan!
So with that in mind, I tried to make the most of it while they still had time.
After stocking up on supplies, I finally head to bony resort to continue to malevolent fist side quest.
They seem to have taken over this place, changing the music for the area, making the sky appear red, and adding in some annoying teleporters that are the only ways to get around due to a bunch of invisible walls!
In order to get around, I have to fight some of their minions as I go about navigating my way around the maze of annoying teleporters. (They work like Sabrina's gym in the Pokemon games!)
Despite these minions not being too tough for my digimon to handle, not being able to remember which teleport leads where makes this section of the game very annoying!
So with my digimon near the end of their lifespans, and this annoying maze taking ages to get around, will I be able to get through this maze before my digimon fade away? Find out in the next part!
