Let's Play Dino Crisis 3 Ep.14 MTHR's Children (Final)
26On the fourteenth and final episode of Let's Play Dino Crisis 3, we've finally reached the MTHR Sector where the AI is housed. Patrick's ready to shut it down and put an end to it's creation of dinosaur hybrids. When we reach the massive MTHR room, Patrick sees all of the spare Caren androids in storage, as well as the culmination of MTHR's work: fetal dinosaur/human hybrids. Patrick is disgusted by the hybrids, and after telling MTHR he'll never let them reach Earth she floods the room and brings the Miaplacidus in for a rematch. The battle is a struggle thanks in part to a very low framerate, but once we put the malformed Spino down for good we're immediately thrown into a fight with the AI itself. Destroying enough of her floating processing units causes MTHR to fade away, but the loss of the ship's AI also triggers a self-destruct sequence. Sonya, Patrick, and Caren have to haul ass to the Engine Sector to reach the Escape Shuttle before the remains of the ship also explode. However, on the way there the trio run into one more of MTHR's children, a huge two-headed abomination with a penchant for blind destruction. Caren sacrifices herself to save Patrick and Sonya by luring the Cebalrai off of a drop. Once in the Engine Sector, the pair have to simultaneously activate two switches in order to trigger one last formation change and release the shuttle. After all that, we reach the shuttle and escape the Ozymandias as it detonates. However, we've picked up a rather large stowaway on the way out, and Patrick heads outside to deal with the final space dino.
