Starting to build the fortress, gathering more materials (like usual), and working toward creating an alchemy engine. I wonder if I AM able to create a garland if it will be almost gone bad as well.

Klei Entertainment—known for Mark of the Ninja, Eets, and Shank—released an open world survival horror game on April 23, 2013 called Don't Starve, as both developer and publisher. Currently available for Windows, OS X, and Linux, a release later is expected for the Playstation 4.
Starting off, players assume the role of Wilson, the Gentleman Scientist, and can unlock other characters as experience is gained. When the character either dies or escapes using the "wooden thing," experience is tallied and the total can potentially unlock someone new. Wilson "grows a magnificent beard," which if shaved can yield beard hair (used to make certain items). Gathering materials, building structures, fighting off enemies and escaping natural disasters are all standard fair for this game.
The HUD consists of a series of tabs for crafting, refining, etc., on the left; meters for time, hunger, health, and sanity in the upper right; a map interface with directional arrows in the lower left, and inventory indicators along the bottom and above the map section (if using, for example, a backpack). Different items are for different purposes (a pickaxe for mining, an axe for chopping trees and attacking enemies, etc.), so crafting is a frequent activity so further progress can be made. New inventions are discovered as the game progresses, including structures, tools, fighting gear (armor and weapons), and gardening improvements, although gameplay increases in difficulty as time passes as well.
Will Winston survive long? Will I discover new characters? What random things or methods will I employ? Let's Play and we'll soon see!
