A playthrough of "Hell Beneath" (Episode 4 Mission 1) of Ultimate Doom for PC, played through GLBoom. 100% kills, 100% secrets (Max-Kill).

Thus we begin our painful, torturous trek into Episode 4, Thy Flesh Consumed.

This is easily, by far and away, the most brutal map in the game, with the exception of E4M2. Come on. Really? 9 health bonuses, 1 Armor vest and something like, 10 helmets? This totals to 109% max health at any point, and something along the lines of 110% total armor at any point. You can't get any more. To top everything off, you fight 5 Barons of Hell, on a map that's small and filled with only narrow walkways to dodge them in, AND you have to -strategically- lure them into ONE SPECIFIC SPOT, AND make sure they take enough damage from the 12 rockets you get? Yeah. Screw this noise.

Ah yeah, and the fact that the rocket launcher and all of it's ammo is in a secret passage...

Oh, and yes, that secret really IS a pain in the ass to get. There, I said it. Also, the trick with the Red Skull Key is... you simply grab it through the bars, as if you could reach through even though that gate is physically impassable. It saves you from having to run in there as early as I did which can cause you to get trapped early on.
