In this Let's Play video, you will see me play Dragon Eclipse (Version 1.0 Full Release). This is a Roguelite RPG Deck Builder with some world exploration mechanics. The game starts you off immediately as a Tamer with 2 starting Mystlings (magical creatures) that are used to fight dangerous creatures. Each expedition (runs), you need to pick a Tamer (each with its own perks), and 3 Mystlings. As you explore the world, you will encounter battles in which you use your Mystlings to fight for you. The deck and mystling modifications are reset each time, and you must build them up again as you explore the world. The deck varies based on the Mystlings you bring since each Mystlings has their own cards they add to the deck. Each successful battles, reward you coins and berries that you can spend to boost your Mystlings. Spend berries to apply Blessings to your Mystlings to gain new traits and evolve them after 3 blessings. Coins can be used to purchase things from world shops, heal and enhance our Mystlings. After an expedition run, win or lose, you gain some experiences that slowly improves your future runs. The game is actually really fun once you learn the game mechanics. It reminds me a lot of "Pokemon" and "Digimon Tamers". If you enjoy "Gordian Quests", "Monster Slayer", "Slay the Spire", "Trials of Fire", "Griftlands", "Union of Gnomes", "Knock on the Coffin Lid", "Deathless: Tales of Old Rus", "Beneath Odesa", "Deck of Souls", and "Claymores of the Lost Kingdom", then you'll enjoy this game. I definitely had fun playing this game and highly recommend it.
