In this Let's Play video, you will see me play Rogue Loops (Steam Next Fest). This game is a fast paced roguelite isometric action RPG. This game plays similar to "Wizard of Legend 2", "SWORN", "Rotwood", "Curse of the Dead Gods", and "Hades". You play as one of the family members that is stuck in an infinite loop in mystical dimension (fantasy realm) and must find a way to escape out of the loop. The story premise sets up an interesting game loop mechanic. Each time you enter the loop, you'll be given a skill choice. Upon entering the game zone (arena) your character goes from room to room that loops in circles with each room giving you a choice between two "deals" (conditions for the room). Typically a buff (positive effect) and a debuff (negative effect). You get to decide how you want to tackle the challenge for the room. The choice you make may or may not be a good synergy with the skills (relics) you picked. Collect resources during your adventure and use them to upgrade your meta progression back at the base camp. The meta progression upgrades will help future runs. Just an FYI (Warning): This game has a weird screen shake effect where the game rocks back and forth during your in-game character movement. And has a screen edge shift based on tracking your mouse cursor movement. Both of these effects combined can give certain players with motion sickness severe nausea. I gave feedback to the developer, and they said they got many feedback and complaints regarding this and plan to fix this in a future update. Besides those issues, the game is well done. The graphics is really nice. The demo will be released soon. Be sure to Wishlist the game and keep an eye out for it if you're into action RPG.
