Dragon Warrior (aka Dragon Quest) was originally released for the Famicom in 1986 and for the nes in 1989 by Enix. Since then, it has been released onto multiple platforms and spawned many many sequels and spinoffs. At the time, this RPG offered a simple graphic interface with a few side quests leading to the main objective. While definitively not the most complex game at the time, Dragon Warrior led the way for younger audience to enjoy such adventures.
