Let's Play: Duke Nukem 3D: Duke It Out in D.C. - Level 10 (Secret Level) - Top Secret
A playthrough of "Top Secret" (Level 10) of Duke It Out in D.C., an expansion for Duke Nukem 3D for PC (which replaces Episode 3), played through eDuke32. 100% secrets. This is the Episode's secret level.
If I had to pick the "hardest" map in this expansion, this is the winner. It's deceptively huge and the design is not friendly to someone coming here for their first time. Sentry Drones are behind so many corners, and there's so many Sentry Drones that it might as well equate to the "Mount Pain" of Duke Nukem 3D. Especially that ending section where about 10 of them come out at you. It's just not a good idea to try going fast through this particular level as it's design and constant tactically-forced weapon switching drags the map to a crawl. Going through the Time Machine to the Aztec temple is possibly the best part of the level as it flows nicely and still retains a sense of difficulty, yet you don't need foresight to survive or do well. Overall just a somewhat bland, slow, difficult level, which is a tad disappointing coming from a secret level in an otherwise stellar episode.
