So begins my first offering in this genre: Let's Play Dying Light! I shall do my best in this Let's Play to showcase all Dying Light has to offer. Techland did a fantastic job with Dying Light and it's truly a pleasure to Let's Play it. My playthrough of Dying Light will show off gameplay, including crafting, free-roaming, as well as story line advancement, casual exploration, and finding secrets. I tackle many of the side quests throughout and yet try to keep it fresh and entertaining for all of you. What exactly is Dying Light?
Dying Light is a first-person, action, survival game, set in a large open world environment with gameplay heavily reliant on it's Parkour system. A plague has spread across the city of Harran infecting the populace and turning them into hordes of vicious, flesh-eating zombies. You must scavenge for seemingly mundane items and scrap to craft makeshift weapons, your only hope to stem the ever increasing tide of undead. During the day, the "biters" are slow and lethargic, forcing you to make the most of your time. The Dying Light ushers in the night which sees you no longer the hunter, but the prey. Flee to a safe house, or brave the dangerous night, using all your wits, skills, weapons, and abilities to survive by any means until dawn. Good Night. Good Luck.
