There is also a Let's Look available for Encased on #playinghardball. In that Let's Look we play the tutorial area with two different characters to get to know the game and experiment with the funny possibility of creating a mentally special person. The fourth episode features a speedrun with a perceptive blue wing techie. You can find the playlist for those four episodes here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL0j9cDVAKEYpWd2Uj0V62hfuEmVA0UoZ4

Encased is a turn-based tactical sci-fi CRPG set in an alternative 1970's. An enormous and inexplicable artifact – the Dome – is discovered in a remote desert of Earth. Inside the Dome the international team that has been sent there to investigate encounters numerous (and dangerous) alien artifacts, creatures, phenomena and anomalies within a dystopian environment that are not entirely understood by humanity. The Dome has essentially ended the Cold War and brought the nations together. People are assigned to so called wings that represent their jobs: scientists, technicians, administrators/leaders, security and convicts for physical labour. An economy has developed around the Dome and lifted humanity's tech level. However, no human who entered the Dome can leave...

Encased was developed by Dark Crystal Games and published by Dark Matter in 2021. The game is inspired by classic roleplaying games games like Fallout and Wasteland, the Soviet-era sci-fi novel Roadside Picnic provides further inspiration.
It is mentionable that the game offers many alternative ways to play based on the aligned employee group of the player, the so called wing, on numerous abilities, skills and perks and the playstyle - including the possibility to play stealthy and as a pure pacifist. In addition the game features several damage types, resistances and survival mechanics like hunger, thirst and fatigue.

In the Let's Play we will see lots of gameplay and we will experience a complete playthrough of the game. The goal is to see as much of the game as possible, for we are completionists. We will role-play as a corrupt scientist who is at the core a good, if quite unscrupulous person.

WARNING:
Be advised that Encased is a mature game that depicts digital violence and gore through combat, also some strong language and adult humour. From the game description there does not seem to be any really problematic content though. If you are a very young kid you might want to firstly talk with your parents to make sure that the game and these videos are ok for you - or even better, enjoy them together. Same goes for extreme personal sensitivities or trigger situations. In any case, I am going to comment on every gaming scene so there will be adult guidance already that will soften up anything that could be too bad.
